It takes a lifetime to remember all 2200 basic kanji. Our method takes it down to one year.

Japanese pupils study kanji by copying rows and rows of it, until it sticks. The issue is that if they stop writing and practicing, they forget. Also: they hate it.

So, how would you expect a foreigner to catch up so quickly and remember all the necessary kanji in a few months? While having fun?

Our answer: Storytelling

Inspired by Heisig's methodology, we created a story, for each of the 2200 common kanji one would need to become able to work in Japan. On top of that, all stories come with an illustration to help it stick. You will also find examples of daily life sentences, that you can practice to remember in which situation that kanji is used.
